Aim Of My Magazine
Who will my reader be?
My reader is going to be 16-25. They will be the type of person who hates 9 to 5 jobs and can't wait to get out of the office. Every weekend would definelty involve going clubbing or going to a rave. They are a outgoing party animal who likes to have a laugh, at the same time they are very style conscious and love to look fresh.
Information About The Magazine
My magazine is going to be a music magazine but will have a lot of different aspects, it will have different fashions in it and show what all the top artists are wearing and show what's 'in'. It will show the top ten shoe's of the month and show what you should be wearing when you go out. The frequency would be monthly.
The genre of the music in my magazine will be grime and dubstep. Their will be interviews with different artists who are at the top of their game at the moment in the grime and dubstep music scene, some of the artists would include: P money, Devlin, Rusko. We would talk about some of their favourite artists or who they inspire to be like, also where they recommend where to go out.
Why Is It A Good Idea?
From what i have seen, their is a gap in the market. Their are no magazines purely on dubstep or grime and the two genres go together well so to combine them would be a very good and interesting magazine to read. Although the market would be mainly niche, their are a lot of people out their waiting for a magazine like this to come out.
Introduction To My Magazine
Hey, my names Olly and I'm 16. I'm interested in various types of music but my main interest is grime and dubstep.
That is why i'm basing my magazine's on these type of music genres. I'm going to call it 'identity'. I will portray my identity and express myself a lot in the magazine, it will be mainly based on my interests and other people like myself. My target audience will be boys aged 16-22.
